Shervan Fashandi, Ph.D.

Dr. Shervan Fashandi is an expert in banking and finance with years of experience in consultancy services to financial institutions.

After obtaining his Master’s degree in electrical engineering from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada, Shervan earned a PhD in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.

From 2011 to 2015, Dr. Fashandi worked in the banking industry in Canada. He then switched to management consulting from 2015 to 2017, where he focused on shepherding American clients, mostly banks and financial institutions, through areas of risk and public policy. In 2017, Dr. Fashandi relocated to New York, where he worked in capital market risk management in a leading global investment bank.

During his lifelong passion for STEM, Dr. Fashandi won the gold medal in the 1999 the International Physics Olympiad in Italy and holds a US Patent on wireless communications devices. Dr. Fashandi has published several articles on history of contemporary Iran and the current foreign affairs policy.
